Savoca Coins was founded in 2013 by the two siblings Matteo and Claudia Savoca. The admiration for the perfection and aesthetics of antiquity was already put into their children’s shoes by their parents, so it was only a matter of time before Matteo Savoca followed in their footsteps. After completing his training as a numismatist at a renowned auction house in Munich, Claudia completed her studies in journalism. The time had come to stand on their own two feet together.
Since then the company has been growing steadily and so has the team. In addition to some photographers for the coins, there are three numismatists, an expert on forgeries, two communication professionals, a shipping expert and a security officer.
